Here at The View we are well known for our afternoon teas and we think they are the best Skegness has to offer. We have three core options as well as our themed afternoon tea that changes regularly. The View is located on the seafront in Winthorpe, Skegness which makes it the perfect setting to enjoy an afternoon tea. Although we do not serve our afternoon teas on our outside tables we can seat you in the windows so that you are able to enjoy our incredible food alongside our stunning sea views.
The View Classic Afternoon Tea
Starting with our Classic Afternoon Tea, this is a popular option as it can be ordered any day without prior booking and is our most affordable afternoon tea. It includes a sandwich with your choice of filling, a scone (freshly baked in our kitchen) served with jam, butter and clotted cream and a slice of cake or cheesecake that you can choose from the fridge. This is served with a choice of tea or coffee and is just £21.95 per person.
The View Luxury Afternoon Tea
Our second afternoon tea option is the Luxury Afternoon Tea. This option does need to be booked at least 24 hours in advance and a deposit is required to secure your booking. It includes a selection of mini cakes, a slice of cheesecake, a selection of finger sandwiches and a home made scone with butter, jam and clotted cream. It all come beautifully presented on a bamboo stand and is served with unlimited tea or coffee. This option is perfect if you are looking for something a little more special and is priced at £27.95 per person.
The View High Tea
Our final option is The High Tea. Again this does require prior booking with at least 24 hours notice and a deposit. This option includes more options made in house by our talented chefs. There is the lemon posset with shortbread, a tower cake, a profiterole, brownies, fruit and macaron on the top tier. The middle section includes our famous stacked strawberry scone, a stunning fruit tart and a classic trifle. On the bottom tier you will find the savoury options and these include a selection of finger sandwiches, a miniature fish, chips and pea puree and a sausage roll. This is all served alongside unlimited tea or coffee and is priced at £31.95 per person.
We can cater to Gluten free or Vegan diets although we would have to make some substitutions and you can message us for photos of these options. Both the gluten free and vegan options are an additional £3.00 per person.
